In her own words…

I have always been amazed by how chiropractic helps a person heal and feel their best. I received my first adjustment at just 3 days old after my mom had been under chiropractic care during pregnancy. I always knew that chiropractic would remain a large part of my life and deciding to pursue it as a career was an easy decision. It felt more like a calling.

During chiropractic college I was very interested in working with pregnancy and children. On campus, I was a student teacher in the pediatrics department and routinely adjusted pregnant moms and babies in clinic. I also began a post-graduate certification through the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association to deepen my knowledge.

After having my son in 2016, my passion for supporting mamas and babies was renewed. We struggled with lip and tongue ties, as well as nursing challenges which lead me to continue my training in caring for moms and babies. I learned about treatments for before and after tongue tie revision, exercises for mom and baby to do, and looked further into myofascial release and craniosacral techniques to bring balance back to the body.

My passion is helping parents feel confident in caring for their families and themselves. I provide a safe place for moms to bring their concerns and feel heard. I work with families of all types and have experience supporting parents choosing everything from home births to planned caesarean births. I also love working with moms during the postpartum period as well as addressing women’s body changes during the menopausal journey.

I strive to be a resource for all parents of Mid-Missouri by continuously learning. I am constantly learning more about motherhood, pregnancy, and parenting through my own challenges as well as books, research, training programs, and seminars. My practice is a place to nurture families and remind moms (and families) just how amazing they are!

As a child Dr. Jones spent much of her time visiting her grandparents in Rocheport and fell in love with Mid-Missouri. She opened her practice in Columbia in 2012. After marrying her husband Wayne they decided Mid-Missouri was where they wanted to build a family. On days at home you can find Dr. Jones in the kitchen creating something delicious and gluten-free or on the living room floor playing a game and reading books with her son Will and daughter Maggie.

Dr. Jones attended undergrad at both Columbia College and Illinois State University before starting chiropractic college. She graduated with a B.S. as well as a D.C. degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. She is certified through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association in Webster Technique for Pregnancy and has also obtained a certification in pediatric chiropractic by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP). Dr. Jones remains an active ICPA member and is also a board eligible Certified Lactation Professional.
